  Interesting products, good variety, nice people, HORRIBLE prices. Going to Giant Eagle is a four or so times a year treat, and will never be a habit so long as store baked bread is over $5 a loaf. It's good, but not that good. I'm not poor, but I would be if I bought all my groceries here. I've also never waited less than 5 minutes in line checking out, even in "express."

  Quick and easy shopping... Prices are a little higher than other local grocery stores, but being able to get what you need and get out fast makes up for it... Staff is always more friendly and competent than the competition too.

  I've been shopping at this Giant Eagle for years. I like their vegetable and frozen food selections. Their prices may be somewhat higher than Wal-Mart but the store is nicer and the variety of goods is much bigger. I just wish they would quit rearranging the store every six months.
